The Saramonic CamMic is a passive directional condenser microphone designed to deliver excellent sound quality for video recording, ideal for filmmakers and sound producers. It features a cardioid pickup pattern that focuses on sound directly in front of the microphone, effectively reducing background noise and enhancing dialogue clarity.

Integrated Shock Mount for Vibration Isolation

The microphone includes a rugged built-in shock mount that fully isolates the microphone capsule from shocks, bumps, and vibrations, preventing unwanted crackles and clicks during recording. This design significantly reduces handling noise and low-frequency rumble.

Low-Cut Filter and Wind Protection

An 80 Hz low-pass (high-pass) filter can be activated to eliminate low-frequency noise such as traffic or air conditioning hum, improving speech intelligibility. The CamMic also comes with a double-layer, sphere-shaped foam windshield with a rubber band, providing effective wind noise reduction and producing a warm sound quality.

Compatibility and Connectivity

The microphone is compatible with most DSLR cameras, camcorders, and smartphones. It connects via a 3.5 mm TRS microphone input. The integrated locking microphone base mount features a 1/4-20 thread for easy attachment to cameras, gimbals, tripods, shoulder poles, or stands. For smartphones, it can be mounted using a tripod adapter clip with a cold shoe (sold separately).
