Unitree Go2 Air quadruped robot
The Unitree Go2 Air is an advanced quadruped robot for exploring robotics, learning and creative programming. Its 3D perception system, dynamic movement and mobile app make it suitable for interactive use at home and for educational projects.
3D perception and navigation
An ultra-wide-angle 3D LiDAR scans the surroundings across a 360° × 90° field of view to build a three-dimensional map. The robot uses this information to navigate around obstacles. It also features a wide-angle camera and obstacle-avoidance sensors.
Programming and control
The mobile app includes a graphical drag-and-drop programming interface, basic movement and dance modes, HD video streaming, remote control and a preview of system data. The robot supports smart over-the-air (OTA) updates.
Dynamic movement
Twelve articulation motors enable agile movement and tricks, including standing on two legs and jumping. The robot can travel at speeds of up to 2.5 m/s (9 km/h), step over obstacles up to approximately 15 cm high and climb inclines of up to 30°. Its load capacity is approximately 7 kg, with a maximum of approximately 10 kg.
Camera, lighting and battery
An HD wide-angle camera supports live video streaming to a phone, while a 3 W front LED light helps illuminate darker areas. The standard 8,000 mAh battery provides approximately 1–2 hours of operation. An optional 15,000 mAh battery, sold separately, can extend operating time to approximately 3–4 hours.
