Hypershell X Pro Exoskeleton
The Hypershell X Pro is a motion-assist exoskeleton combining AI MotionEngine technology, ergonomic design and durable construction. It analyses movement up to 1,000 times per second and responds with a latency of 2 milliseconds to provide smooth assistance during activities including running. With peak power of 800 W, it supports the lower body, reducing physical effort by up to 30% and assisting movement at speeds of up to 20 km/h. The foldable exoskeleton weighs 2 kg without the battery and provides a range of up to 17.5 km. It is designed to operate in temperatures as low as -20°C.
AI MotionEngine and real-time movement analysis
AI MotionEngine controls the exoskeleton using sensors including inertial measurement units (IMUs), gyroscopes and barometers to continuously analyse movement. Processing up to 1,000 analyses per second, it responds to changes in pace, direction and terrain incline. With a latency of 2 milliseconds, assistance synchronises with the user’s movement, including during running and travel over challenging terrain.
Lower-body assistance and performance
The exoskeleton assists with lifting the legs and propelling them forward, helping reduce fatigue while walking and running, particularly on demanding terrain. Its peak power of 800 W provides support that can reduce total physical effort by up to 30%, including during long-distance expeditions or when carrying heavy equipment. It also provides propulsion assistance at speeds of up to 20 km/h, helping with steep ascents and dynamic movement.
Ergonomic, foldable construction
Designed to preserve natural movement, the Hypershell X Pro offers up to 300 degrees of rotational freedom for activities such as running, cycling, turning and climbing. Its construction combines aluminium alloy, stainless steel and carbon fibre-reinforced polymer. The exoskeleton weighs 2 kg without the battery and folds to approximately 43 cm in length for transport in a hiking backpack. Folded dimensions are 430 × 260 × 125 mm.
AeroFlex SoftSuit comfort
The AeroFlex SoftSuit carrying system has ten layers with a total thickness of 4 mm. Its outer layer is made from lightweight diamond-weave nylon, designed for durability, ventilation and moisture resistance. The padding conforms to the body to reduce pressure points and the risk of chafing, and is designed for extended wear over clothing.
Durability and operating conditions
The housing has an IP54 protection rating against dust and splashes. The exoskeleton is designed to operate from -20°C to 60°C, supporting use in cold, hot and demanding outdoor conditions. Its robust construction and protected electronics are intended for field use where the device may encounter impacts and changing weather.
Operating modes
Transparent Mode allows movement without motor assistance. Eco Mode provides gentle assistance while reducing energy consumption, Fitness Mode adds controlled resistance for leg-muscle training, and Hyper Mode provides maximum assistance using the full 800 W output. Ten smart modes adapt assistance to the activity: Walking, Speed Walking, Running, Cycling, Mountain, Gravel, Uphill, Downhill, Up Stairs and Down Stairs.
Battery and charging
The 5,000 mAh (72 Wh) battery provides a range of up to 17.5 km per charge. USB-C Power Delivery charging at up to 65 W takes approximately 35 minutes to reach 50% and approximately 88 minutes for a full charge from 0% to 100%. The recommended charging temperature is 0°C to 40°C. Two interchangeable batteries are included, providing a combined range of up to 35 km.
Hypershell+ app
The Hypershell+ app is compatible with iOS, Android and watchOS. Apple Watch support provides access to key statistics and assistance settings from the wrist. The app monitors movement parameters in real time, tracks calories burned, adjusts assistance levels and supports wireless over-the-air (OTA) software updates.
