Product details

UNITREE H2 Edu humanoid robot

The Unitree H2 Edu is a full-size humanoid robot, approximately 182 cm tall, designed to operate in spaces built for people. Its human-like proportions, bionic head with facial features and smooth movements give it a lifelike appearance. With 31 degrees of freedom (DoF), it supports precise, flexible movement. A binocular camera positioned in place of the eyes observes the environment from a human-like perspective, making the robot an advanced platform for research, education, demonstrations and other robotics projects.

Natural whole-body movement

The H2 Edu is designed for precise whole-body control. Each leg has 6 DoF, each arm has 7, the torso has 3 and the head has 2. This configuration supports smooth movement, balance and complex, natural motion. Leg-joint torque reaches up to 360 N·m, providing stability and dynamic performance during demanding manoeuvres. The robot can jump, walk and run, as well as perform movement sequences inspired by martial arts and dance.

Arms and hands for precise work

Industrial cross bearings combine precision with durability in the robot’s arm joints. The H2 Edu can also be equipped with grasping hands in multiple variants, enabling it to handle objects and perform tasks that require precise motion control. This makes it suitable for manipulation training, grasping research and projects involving physical interaction with the environment.

Human-like vision and communication

A binocular camera positioned in place of the eyes provides a wide field of view and a natural perspective for observing the environment. The robot also features a voice interaction system with a microphone array and a high-power speaker, supporting straightforward communication with users.

Computing power and development

The H2 Edu can be configured with computing modules such as the Jetson AGX Thor, offering performance of up to 2070 TOPS for advanced control and data-processing algorithms. The manufacturer continues to develop the motion-control system and supports it with OTA updates, allowing the robot’s capabilities to be expanded through software updates without modifying its hardware.

For learning, research and demonstrations

The Unitree H2 Edu is designed for education, research and demonstrations of modern robotics in a range of environments. Its full-size humanoid form suits technology exhibitions, teaching and demonstration projects. It also provides a platform for research into whole-body movement, control, perception and human–robot interaction. Academic and research teams can use it to test algorithms and new concepts without having to design a robot platform from scratch.
