Established since 1997, ILFORD MULTIGRADE FB WARMTONE is a premium quality, variable contrast black and white photographic paper designed for creative printers seeking the ultimate in print quality with warm image tones and excellent toning response. It is coated onto a 255g/m2 fibre base, providing a warm white base tint that produces prints with warm deep blacks and creamy tones, delivering luxuriously rich images.
This paper is highly responsive to toning, chemical reduction, and retouching techniques, making it a preferred choice worldwide for exhibition printing. It consistently produces superior quality prints expected from ILFORD photographic papers and maintains versatility and responsiveness to darkroom techniques since its launch.
Technical Characteristics
- Induction time of approximately 40 seconds for image appearance during processing
- Retains all characteristics expected from fibre-based papers during processing
- Compatible with all types of darkroom enlargers
- Suitable for safelights with a cutoff no lower than 580nm
- Fully compatible with ILFORD chemistry range and optimum permanence wash sequence
- Delivers seven full grades of contrast from grade 00 to grade 5 in half-grade steps when used with ILFORD MULTIGRADE FILTERS
- After washing and drying, can be mounted using standard fibre-based paper methods
