ILFORD MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is a premium quality black & white variable contrast paper on a bright white resin coated base. It delivers a full tonal range and exceptional image quality across a wide contrast range of grades 00 to 5.

Since the introduction of the world’s first variable contrast MULTIGRADE paper in 1940, ILFORD has continuously evolved this range to become the preferred choice for discerning darkroom printers worldwide.

The current emulsion design maintains the long-standing tradition of MULTIGRADE quality, providing enhanced response where needed. This paper reveals subtle highlight details while rendering shadows in deep, rich blacks, accentuated by the bright white base.

This makes it ideal for beginners printing directly from negatives as well as advanced users seeking full creative control.

MULTIGRADE RC DELUXE is also available in Cooltone and Warmtone variants.

It is part of the ILFORD MULTIGRADE system, allowing seven full grades of contrast when used with ILFORD MULTIGRADE filters. Compatible with common black & white darkroom safelights such as the ILFORD 902 safelight filter.
