It features double-braced legs, one leveling leg, a spring-loaded boom counterbalance, and a total payload of 12 kg, making it ideal for overhead lighting, hair lights, or large modifiers in busy studios.
This upgraded Heavy Duty version of the 420B Combi-Boom has a four-section aluminum column (35 mm top tube) and a steel base, reaching a maximum height of 392 cm as a stand and converting to a 191 cm horizontal boom in seconds. It includes smooth coaxial spring damping for precise height and angle control, with a top attachment offering a 16 mm socket plus 3/8 and 1/4 threads. Optional wheels (018) can be added for full studio mobility.
