Manfrotto MT055XPRO3 Aluminium Tripod
The Manfrotto 055XPRO3 tripod features a unique 90° centre column mechanism, allowing the column to be extended vertically or horizontally. This design opens up a wide range of framing and shooting possibilities, making the tripod highly versatile for various photography and video applications. The horizontal column mechanism is integrated within the tripod's top casting for compactness and can be quickly extended without disassembly, even with a camera attached.
The tripod has 4-section aluminium legs that enhance compactness, reducing the closed length by 16 cm compared to previous 190 models, which benefits traveling photographers. The legs extend and adjust quickly using Quick Power Lock (QPL) levers that provide a comfortable, strong single-handed grip and powerful locking for increased stability and rigidity. Each leg angle can be independently and securely set to preset positions using ergonomic leg angle selectors, offering extensive positioning flexibility.
A bubble level is built into the top of the centre column for precise framing. It rotates freely around the column, allowing optimal visibility without obstruction from the mounted head or camera controls.
The top casting includes an Easy Link connector to support photo or video accessories such as LED lights, flashes, or reflectors on an extending arm or bracket, transforming the tripod into a practical mobile studio.
Manfrotto MHXPRO-BHQ2 XPRO Ball Head
The XPRO Ball Head combines innovative design with functionality. It features a triple locking system that ensures camera position stability and friction control to balance the weight of camera equipment. Two levelling bubbles assist in precise composition framing. The ball head uses polymer rings instead of grease, providing smooth, accurate, and less jerky camera movements. Constructed from lightweight magnesium, it is portable and reliable. The ball head comes with the Manfrotto 200PL plate for quick camera attachment.
