This Ultra TR 563D aluminum tripod from Velbon is a sturdy support capable of holding cameras up to 7.72 lb. Lightweight and portable, the tripod weighs only 3.4 lb and - thanks to a short center column - collapses to just 11.3" tall when folded. That center column is also removable and reversible for greater flexibility when shooting. The six-section telescoping legs bring the maximum height of this support to 61.5" and it can also get as low as 11.9". 

An included QHD-S5D ball head includes a quick release plate that allows for easy camera attachment and detachment.
