Advanced Imaging and Control
The Canon LEGRIA HF G70 is equipped with a 1/2.3-type CMOS 4K sensor and DIGIC DV6 image processor, delivering crisp and sharp UHD images suitable for 4K displays. An 8-blade aperture creates cinematic out-of-focus highlights. Users can compose shots using the 3.5-inch LCD or the built-in electronic viewfinder (EVF).
Creative Flexibility
Capture dynamic wide-angle and close-up shots with the powerful 20x optical zoom and advanced image stabilization. The camera offers five customizable buttons and built-in neutral density (ND) filters to control exposure for wider apertures or slower shutter speeds.
Fast and Precise Autofocus
The advanced Hybrid Autofocus system allows adjustable focusing speed for fast or smooth AF. Focus points can be selected by touch on the LCD screen. Face Detection AF and Face Tracking enhance subject tracking in busy scenes, while manual focus is available via the lens control ring.
Recording and Connectivity
The camcorder records in MP4 format compatible with most TVs, supporting 4K UHD at 150 Mbps (25p) and Full HD at 35 Mbps or 17 Mbps (50p/25p). It offers slow motion recording in Full HD at 0.5x speed and fast motion recording in 4K/Full HD up to 1200x speed.
Additional features include various scene modes, a custom picture menu for color matching with other Canon cameras, and audio scene modes optimized for different environments. Dual SD card slots enable simultaneous backup or relay recording. Full HD UVC streaming is supported via USB-C (note: audio output through USB is not supported).
