Clear sound and ambient-noise reduction

The cardioid polar pattern reduces ambient noise by focusing on sound in front of the microphone. This makes the K688CT suitable for voice-over recording, streaming and music production, helping provide clear, crisp audio with less unwanted interference.

Convenient controls

The microphone features a headphone jack for direct monitoring, a quick mute function, a monitoring-volume control and a separate microphone-sensitivity control. These controls let you adjust settings while working without interrupting a recording.

Stable, adjustable mounting arm

The included desk arm offers a wide range of adjustment for positioning the microphone. It has two 33 cm segments, with 180° adjustment at the middle joint and 135° at the base. The desk clamp fits tabletops less than 5 cm thick.
