HOYA engineers have developed a new antistatic coating that acts like a force field around the filter to repel dust. This feature is ideal for environments with frequent dust exposure, reducing the need for frequent cleaning and maintenance compared to traditional filters.

Durable and Easy to Clean Surface

The hardened antistatic top-layer is water repellent and stain resistant, protecting against exposure to ink, markers, and other contaminants. Water beads up on the surface and wipes away easily, while fingerprints and smudges can be cleaned off effortlessly.

High-Performance Optical Glass

The FUSION ANTISTATIC NEXT professional filters are manufactured in Japan using hand-selected silicates that are carefully smelted and blended to produce high-performance optical glass. HOYA applies an improved 18-layer Super Multi-Coating on both sides of the glass, significantly reducing or eliminating reflections and ensuring ultra-clear, high transmission rates. This results in virtually no impact on color balance, contrast, or image clarity.

Precision Frame Design

The filter features a lightweight, one-piece, low-profile aluminum frame that houses the glass. This design maintains perfect parallel alignment to the sensor plane for maximum sharpness. The slim profile also prevents vignetting when used with ultra-wide-angle lenses. Additionally, the frame includes front filter threads for easy attachment of additional filters or lens accessories.
