The MITOYA RL-480 is a powerful and efficient LED ring lamp with a diameter of 45 cm. It features adjustable light power and color temperature ranging from warm 3000 K to cool 6000 K. This first-generation model includes a simplified control panel and a thinner diffuser for enhanced performance. The lamp consists of 480 high-intensity LEDs that emit strong, contrasting light, ideal for illuminating faces during cosmetic and dermatological treatments. It consumes 60 W of power and offers a high Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 90+, ensuring faithful reproduction of natural colors.

Design and Controls

The LEDs are covered by a plastic diffuser, extending their lifespan to approximately 50,000 hours. Ventilation holes on the back of the lamp housing provide effective heat dissipation. The lamp's settings are adjusted via two knobs: one serves as the power switch and controls light output, while the other adjusts color temperature. The entire ring can be tilted up to 90° for flexible lighting angles.

Power Supply and Mounting

The lamp is powered by the included 18 V, 3 A AC adapter but can also operate on two NPF960 batteries (sold separately). It weighs 960 g and can be mounted on tripods with a 16 mm head (tripod not included). Recommended tripod models include MTYF200, MTYB4 YOGA, and MTY2204FP PENGUIN.
