The Neewer RL45B 45 W, 18-inch ultra-thin LED ring light is a complete lighting kit for video recording, live streaming, makeup application, photography and social media content creation. It uses 288 high-performance LEDs, delivers up to 45 W of power and provides 3,300 lux at 0.5 m to illuminate faces and workspaces. A CRI of 97+ supports natural colour reproduction for video, beauty shoots and product photography. The 18-inch ring has an edge-lit design approximately 2 cm thick. Its overall dimensions are 545 × 440 × 30 mm, making it compact for studio use.

Soft, even light

Edge-lit technology produces diffused light that is gentler on the eyes than light from conventional ring lights. It helps reduce harsh facial shadows, making the light suitable for makeup, streaming and vlogging. The large 18-inch ring illuminates a wider area of the frame for a more professional look. Flicker-free brightness adjustment from 0–100% lets you adapt the output to ambient conditions and the content being recorded.

Adjustable colour temperature and FX effects

The RL45B has two operating modes for adapting the lighting to a scene. In CCT mode, the colour temperature can be adjusted from 2,900 K to 7,000 K, providing warm or cool light to suit skin tones, the mood of a recording or the ambient light in a room. The light also offers 12 FX effects, including simulations of lightning, a TV screen, candlelight and paparazzi flashes, for creating dynamic video content without additional accessories.

Control and compatibility

The 2-in-1 magnetic controller can be attached directly to the light or used as a wireless remote. It lets you adjust brightness and colour temperature and switch operating modes without approaching the setup. The light also connects to the NEEWER mobile app via Bluetooth and to PCs and Macs using the included 2.4G transmitter. This is useful for solo recording, livestreaming and home-studio work.

Accessories for streaming and mobile work

The kit includes two flexible mounts for attaching smartphones simultaneously, for example, for streaming on TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. A ball adapter supports mounting a vlogging camera, while the foldable, height-adjustable tripod helps position the light. The carrying case makes the kit easier to store and transport for home or on-location use.
