RODE M3 End-Address Condenser Microphone

The RODE M3 is a highly versatile and affordable end-address condenser microphone suitable for both studio and stage use.

It features a 1/2" internally sprung condenser capsule housed in a rugged metal body, providing reliable performance for vocals, acoustic guitar, drums, guitar amplifiers, ambient sound, and presenter applications.

The microphone can be powered by either a 9V battery located inside the microphone body or by 24-48V phantom power, making it ideal for situations where phantom power is unavailable. The battery life can last up to 200 hours, and a battery status indicator is included.

To accommodate loud sound sources, the M3 includes a two-step attenuation switch (-10 dB and -20 dB) located in the battery compartment. Additionally, a high-pass filter at 80 Hz can be activated via a switch to reduce unwanted low-frequency noise and handling noise.
