Samyang AF 14mm f/2.8 F is an ultra-wide angle lens with autofocus, designed specifically for Nikon DSLR cameras with F mount. It is compatible with full-frame sensors and can also be used on APS-C sensor cameras.
Featuring an extreme angle of view, a large f/2.8 aperture, and weather-sealed construction, this lens is ideal for sports, landscape, and astrophotography. Its lightweight and compact design make it convenient for travel.
Autofocus and Aperture Control
The built-in motor delivers fast, quiet, and precise autofocus. An electronically controlled aperture ensures compatibility with all camera exposure and metering modes. Manual focus is easily accessible via an AF/MF switch and a wide, comfortable focus ring. The minimum focusing distance is 20 cm, allowing close-up detail shots while capturing expansive surroundings.
Advanced Optical Design
The lens construction includes 15 elements in 10 groups, incorporating 2 aspherical elements to minimize distortion and maximize contrast and sharpness across the entire image, even at wide apertures. Four High Refractive (HR) glass elements and one Extra Low Dispersion (ED) glass element reduce coma and color fringing.
Samyang's Ultra Multilayer Coating (UMC) reduces reflections, stray light, and ghosting. The 7-blade aperture produces attractive sun star effects from point light sources.
