Celestron NexYZ 3 Cellphone Adapter

With the cleverly constructed, easy-to-use Celestron NexYZ adapter, you can connect any smartphone to a telescope, spotting scope, binocular, monocular, or microscope, enabling you to capture images and videos of the observed object.

Fits Just About Anything

NexYZ fits any eyepiece with a diameter from 35 mm to 60 mm, including telescopes with 1.25" (31.75 mm) and 2" (50.8 mm) eyepieces.

It also attaches to microscopes using the included adapter ring, which reduces the usable diameter to 25 mm, the size of a standard microscope eyepiece. A strong spring and a threaded twist lock provide a secure grip on the optical instrument’s eyepiece, allowing confident smartphone operation.

Note: NexYZ is not designed for use on riflescopes.

Universal Smartphone Compatibility

The phone platform is fully adjustable and fits a wide range of smartphones, usually with the case still on. Even plus-size models like the iPhone 8 Plus and latest Samsung Galaxy devices fit perfectly. The secure platform supports the weight of heavier devices with ease.

Spring-loaded clamps allow quick removal and replacement of devices in seconds, making NexYZ ideal for group activities like stargazing parties and bird walks where multiple users want to capture images.

Easy as X-Y-Z

Unlike most adapters that offer limited two-axis adjustment, NexYZ provides ultra-precise, fast three-axis adjustment. You can place your phone on the platform, center it over the eyepiece using the X and Y knobs, then move it up or down (Z axis) to capture the entire field of view.

This alignment process takes about 30 seconds from phone insertion to ready-to-shoot status with your preferred app.

You can switch between portrait and landscape orientation by turning the padded eyepiece clamp and readjusting the X, Y, and Z axes to realign your phone with the eyepiece.
