Softbox Dimensions and Construction

The Falcon Eyes FER-SB30160HC Softbox measures 30 x 160 cm and features a black exterior with a silver reflective interior lining. This reflective material ensures a high return of light and efficient reflection for optimal illumination.

Light Control Features

This softbox includes a detachable honeycomb grid that allows precise control and direction of the light output, enabling photographers to shape the light effectively.

Compatibility and Mounting

The softbox comes with a standard Falcon Eyes speed ring compatible with all Falcon Eyes studio flash units except the SS series. Using an additional speed ring adapter, it can also be mounted on flash units from other brands such as Bowens, Broncolor, Elinchrom, Hensel, Multiblitz, and Linkstar. It is also suitable for use with speedlites when paired with the appropriate adapter.

Usage Notes

This softbox is designed for use with studio flash units and is not suitable for halogen lamps such as the Falcon Eyes QLT-1000 due to the high heat generated by such lamps. For halogen lighting, Falcon Eyes recommends their SBQ series softboxes which are designed to handle higher temperatures.
