The Aputure Lantern is one of Aputure's fastest soft light modifiers. This spherical softbox can pop open and be ready to use in mere seconds, enabling filmmakers to move quickly without lighting setup delays. It produces soft, even light wherever your shoots may take you.

Featuring a 66cm (26") spherical design, the Lantern spreads light from your LED or studio strobe in all directions with a 270° beam angle. This allows you to fill an entire space with soft, even light using just a single light source.

The Art of Control

To create cinematic depth, precise light control is essential. The Aputure Lantern includes a unique 4-section fully adjustable light control skirt. Using a hook-and-loop design, the removable skirts can be attached in any position to quickly and precisely control your soft light. You can roll the skirt up or down to flag off unwanted light.

Its tension-based quick release design allows the Lantern to be set up or broken down in just a few seconds, enabling faster lighting setups with fewer lights.
