The Caruba Quick Assembly Matte Silver Octabox 120cm is an octagonal softbox designed for use with mono lights and flash heads featuring the popular Bowens S-mount. It is primarily intended for portrait and fashion photography, providing soft, even lighting with a professional finish.

Design and Construction

• Robust design with sturdy aluminium beams, bars, and an integrated aluminium Bowens speedring.
• Features an umbrella mechanism that allows the octabox to open and close quickly, facilitating fast setup and easy storage.
• Equipped with special support rods attached to the umbrella mechanism to keep the octabox taut and stable during use.
• Matte silver exterior with a reflective silver interior that maximizes light output from the flash head.

Light Control Features

• Includes a removable deflector plate that diffuses light towards the outer part of the softbox, eliminating hotspots and producing even edge-to-edge illumination similar to a beauty dish.
• Two removable diffusers are provided: one inner diffuser and one front diffuser. These can be used individually or together to adjust the softness and contrast of the light according to photographic needs.
• Comes with a 40-degree grid to control light spill and enhance directional lighting.
