Caruba Quick Assembly Matte Silver Octabox 120cm
The Caruba Quick Assembly Matte Silver Octabox 120cm is an octagonal softbox designed for use with mono lights and flash heads with the popular Bowens S-mount. This type of softbox is mainly used for portrait and fashion photography. Thanks to the umbrella mechanism, the octabox is quick to setup and store. This version of the octabox comes with a 40 degree grid and a handy storage bag.
Robust design
The octabox has a robust design and is equipped with an integrated aluminium Bowens speedring. Special support rods attached to the umbrella mechanism keep the octabox tight.
Removable reflector plate
One of the main features of the Caruba Quick Assembly Matte Silver Octabox is the removable internet deflector which diffuses the light to the outer part of the box. This eliminates hotspots and produces and even edge-to-edge illumination that is reminiscent of a beauty dish.
Soft diffuser
The octabox has two removable diffusers, one on the inside and one on the front. Use them both for an extra soft light or in any combination to vary the contrast and degree of softness of the light.
Silver interior
Another advantage is the reflective silver interior that maximises the light output of the flash head.
