NEEWER 90 cm Softbox

The NEEWER 90 cm Softbox is an octagonal softbox measuring 90 × 46 cm. It provides wide, balanced lighting and evenly illuminates subjects for photography and video. Its silver interior enhances light output and helps reduce shadows without changing the light source’s colour temperature. Two included diffusers provide additional control over light diffusion. The Quick Release design allows the softbox to be set up and taken down in seconds, making it suitable for studio and on-location shoots.

Greater Control Over the Light

The included 88 × 88 cm honeycomb grid provides more precise control over the direction of the light beam. It helps limit lateral light spill and direct light towards a specific area of the frame. For portraits, it can be used to highlight facial features. The softbox is suitable for product, portrait, children’s, fashion and wedding photography, as well as video recording, live streaming and interviews.

Effective Light Diffusion and Reflection

The softbox interior has a highly reflective silver coating that improves light efficiency. It distributes light evenly and helps minimise harsh shadows while maintaining the original colour temperature. The set includes two diffusers: an inner diffuser measuring 87 × 87 cm and an outer diffuser measuring 62 × 62 cm, allowing the lighting to be adjusted to suit the shot.

Quick Setup

The integrated Quick Release system simplifies setup and takedown. It is useful when changing locations frequently or when minimising the time required to prepare lighting.

Durable Construction

Eight flexible ribs are designed to withstand repeated folding and extended use without deformation. When folded, the softbox lies flat for convenient storage in the included carry bag. It is made from Oxford fabric, nylon alloy and aluminium alloy, and weighs 1.12 kg.

Bowens Mount and Compatibility

The lightweight, durable Bowens mount is made from nylon alloy. The softbox is compatible with many NEEWER lights, including the CB60, CB100, CB150, CB60B, RGB CB60, CB200B, MS60B, MS60C, MS150B, S101-300W/400W Pro, Vision 4 and Q4. It can also be used with compatible equipment from other brands that uses a Bowens mount, including SmallRig, Aputure 120d and Godox SL60W.
