Software Overview
This license provides a one-year subscription to the Autocue Explorer prompting software, designed for professional teleprompting with an emphasis on simplicity and ease of use. The software features familiar icons and layouts, enabling users to start prompting immediately without prior experience.
Script Management and Editing
Scripts can be created directly within the software or imported from Word, Text, or PDF files to save time. The script editor allows powerful edits similar to standard text editing software, including easy font and color changes. While editing and prompting cannot be done simultaneously, the software includes all essential broadcast prompting functions.
Run Order Manager
The Run Order pane allows users to manage script sections as individual stories, enabling grouping, moving, and hiding of text blocks. This feature facilitates quick navigation during prompting sessions, enhancing workflow efficiency.
Prompting Control
The integrated virtual scroll control includes important function buttons such as next story and blank screen, allowing users to begin prompting immediately. For enhanced control and comfort, users can upgrade to the ShuttleXpress hand control.
Output and Connectivity
Autocue Explorer supports multiple output options including HDMI, NDI, and iPad connections. The settings menu allows easy management of these connections and includes an image flip (invert) option for through-the-lens prompters.
