The low-profile universal clamps and two universal clamps on handles allow the OMNI filter magnetic filter system to hold flat or cylindrical objects up to 1/4 inch (6 mm) thick. Securely attach your favorite transparent items exactly where they create the desired effect, freeing both hands to work unobstructed while photographing the subject with your unique vision.

In addition to four universal clamps, the Universal Expansion Pack with Shapes provides two long extensions that allow you to center even the largest shape insert above the front of the lens, as well as two magnetic bases and a variety of small and large shape inserts for quickly adjustable, repeatable effects that were previously complicated, if not impossible.

The 8 shape inserts vary from a long, thin blue and silver mirror filled with Swiss cheese-like holes of various sizes to reflective grids in silver, purple, and gold that can be shot straight for texture and selectively reduce contrast, or at an angle for a partial reflection effect reminiscent of light leaks.

When you start looking for broader options, just check your local craft store or even the bottom of your bag. There are many different colors, shapes, and sizes of reflective, translucent, and transparent items that can be secured with the OMNI System universal clamp. If it’s heavy or flexible, try using two or even three clamps simultaneously to securely hold found and self-made objects in front of the lens and influence a small part of your photographs or the entire image.
