The NiSi Nano IR Soft Graduated Neutral Density (GND) filter is specially designed for landscape photographers. It is made from high-quality optical glass (H-K9L) with nano coating on both sides to preserve detail and prevent water and oil adhesion.

This filter features a soft graduated transition from a dense dark area at the top to clear at the bottom, effectively reducing overexposure in bright areas such as skies while leaving the rest of the frame unaffected. The filter can be repositioned in the holder to allow recomposing the photo for optimal results.

Neutral density filters do not affect the coloration of the image. However, when using ND filters, cameras can be vulnerable to infrared light, which may cause unwanted red color casts in photos taken at small apertures. To address this, NiSi applies an infrared protection coating layer to this filter, eliminating infrared light transmission and restoring natural colors.
