The Cokin Nuances Graduated ND8 Soft filter of mineral glass introduces an innovative technology in terms of producing Filters. A completely renewed coating process has been developed to ensure uniform colors. A nano metal alloy is applied to both sides of the filter made of very strongly tempered Schott Glas. This type of glass is known for its high light transmission and low reflection. The result is a wonderful neutrality, completely free of infrared pollution.
The nuances gnd nd filter is suitable for taking long shutter speed photos or for reducing the depth of field when filming. The filter literally catches the light without compromising the colors in your recordings. The filter is darker at the top and turns into the transparent part with a soft course. By shifting the filter in the P filter holder you can determine exactly where you want the effect in the photo. Nuances filters are designed in such a way that they can be combined without getting a color healing. You can also combine the filters with the other types of filters from the creative filter system of Cokin, ideal for when you want to experiment with a multiple filter-setup!
