The variable ND2–ND400 filter

is designed to capture long exposures and motion blur in changing light conditions. It reduces the amount of light entering the lens by 1 to 9 stops without affecting color balance. Diameter: 82 mm.

Construction and Coating

This variable ND2–ND400 filter from the K&F Concept Nano D series is made from high-quality HD AGC optical glass. A total of 24 coating layers help repel water and dust and effectively reduce reflections from the filter itself as well as unwanted glare. The lens surface is oxidized and sandblasted to effectively prevent unwanted light from entering and slow down reflections from the metal surface.

Design Features

The ND2–ND400 variable filter is designed with an ultra-wide angle design and an extremely thin frame with a thickness of only 7.4 mm. The surface design features a CNC trapezoidal pattern that increases friction when rotating, making it easy to install and remove lenses and accessories.

Usage Note

Depending on the type of lens and focal length, a black "X" shape may appear on the filter. However, this shadow will naturally disappear as you continue to rotate the filter—this is a normal physical phenomenon caused by the rotation of the adjustable ND filter.

Compatibility

This variable ND2–ND400 filter is compatible with all lenses with a diameter of 82 mm. Check the thread diameter of your lens before ordering. The thread size is indicated on the lens barrel or on the bottom of the lens cap. This information is always indicated after the symbol "ø" (diameter).
