Versatile Studio Flash with Solid Housing

The Godox GS300II is part of the GS series, designed as a versatile studio flash featuring a robust housing and convenient functions. It offers flash energy adjustment from full power (1/1) down to 1/32 power with precise control and a short recycle time.

Flash Energy and Recycle Time

The flash energy adjustment range covers 5 stops of aperture (1/1 to 1/32) with an accuracy of 0.1 EV. The recycle time to full flash energy is less than 1 second, enabling efficient shooting sessions. At minimal power, the flash duration is very short, approximately 1/2000 seconds (t=0.1), allowing for free shooting during continuous sessions.

Modeling Light Features

The 150W halogen modeling light supports a proportional mode to preview lighting effects and a percentage mode to adjust brightness from 5% to 100%, or it can be turned off completely. It can operate independently of the flash output or be coupled with flash energy for proportional brightness. Additionally, the modeling light can be set to turn off automatically during flash or remain on continuously.

Built-in System X Receiver and Connectivity

The built-in System X receiver enables remote flash triggering up to X-Sync, flash energy control, and other advanced functions. The GS300II also includes a USB connector compatible with XT16, FT-16, or X1 TTL system receivers. A 3.5 mm jack socket allows connection with triggers from other brands, enhancing compatibility.

User Interface and Controls

The back panel features a simple and functional design with an easy-to-read LCD screen visible from wide angles. A convenient knob allows adjustment of flash output, radio communication channel, and lamp group. Below the LCD, five buttons provide quick access to all settings and functions.

Light Modifier Compatibility

The GS300II supports a wide range of light modifiers including bowls, softboxes, spotlights, beauty dishes, and others using the Bowens mount system.
