Its 12.2-inch display provides a spacious workspace, while the electromagnetic pen with 16,384 pressure levels supports precise drawing. 12.2-inch 2K+ display

The 12.2-inch IPS display offers room for drawing, design work and documents, making it easier to focus on both complete compositions and fine details. Its 2400 × 1600 resolution and 236 PPI show detail clearly, while 99% sRGB coverage supports a broad range of displayed colours. Brightness reaches 350 nits for comfortable viewing in a variety of conditions. The 3:2 aspect ratio displays more content vertically, reducing the need to scroll through documents. An 81% screen-to-body ratio provides a large viewing area in a compact device.

90 Hz refresh rate and anti-glare surface

The 90 Hz refresh rate provides smoother visuals and helps reduce perceived lag when drawing or writing with the stylus. It also enhances the experience when gaming or watching films. The Nano-Etched screen surface has a distinctive texture designed to feel similar to writing on paper, supporting natural pen control for sketches and handwritten notes. Anti-Glare technology reduces glare by up to 99%, improving visibility in bright environments and helping reduce eye strain caused by reflections. An AF coating helps minimise visible fingerprints.

PW600C electromagnetic pen

The PW600C electromagnetic pen uses PenTech 4.0 and recognises up to 16,384 pressure levels, responding to subtle pressure changes to vary line width and saturation naturally. Tilt support provides additional control while creating. The built-in HV200 IC continuously records operating parameters and transmits them to the system for accurate reproduction of pen movements. Weighing just 12 g, the pen has a felt tip and a configurable side button. Its magnetic attachment keeps it close to the tablet. Smooth operation and low latency support use with a wide range of drawing and note-taking apps.

HV2000 chip for precise input

Huion’s proprietary HV2000 chip is designed specifically for handwriting recognition and precise interaction between the tablet and stylus. Eight-channel synchronous sampling records pressure and tilt changes with millisecond precision, reproducing subtle movements made while sketching or writing. An advanced digital filter and anti-interference protection help maintain stable performance and prevent cursor drift. The compact 7 × 7 mm BGA package takes up little space inside the device, supporting a slimmer, lighter design.

Processor, memory and storage

The 8-core MediaTek Genio 720 MT8391 processor is manufactured using a 6 nm process. It combines two high-performance Cortex-A78 cores running at up to 2.6 GHz with six energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores. This configuration provides performance for demanding tasks while helping reduce power consumption during lighter use. AI computing power is up to 10 TOPS, and the processor supports multitasking across drawing and other apps.

The tablet has 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM for smooth app switching and everyday use, plus 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage for files and software. Storage can be expanded with a microSD card of up to 1 TB.

Creative apps and multitasking

The tablet supports a wide range of drawing apps, including HiPaint, Clip Studio Paint, ibisPaint, Infinite Painter, Sketchbook, MediBang Paint, Krita and Concepts. Note-taking apps include HiNote, Goodnotes, OneNote, Notion, Notability and Evernote. The international version comes with HiPaint, Clip Studio Paint, ibisPaint X, MediBang Paint and the Huion Store pre-installed. Kamvas Pad 12 users also receive a lifetime free Premium membership in HiPaint, which includes an ad-free experience, animation export, text and fill tools, additional selection options, personalised themes and watermark removal.

In landscape mode, split-screen lets you use two apps at once, making better use of the 12.2-inch workspace without repeatedly switching between programs. Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4 and GPS provide additional connectivity options.

Audio, cameras and microphones

Four speakers with a total output of 4 W provide 360° sound for films and other media. The tablet has an 8 MP front camera and a 13 MP rear camera with flash, as well as two built-in microphones.

Battery and design

The 8,200 mAh battery, combined with the energy-efficient Genio 720 architecture, supports up to a full day of use on a single charge. The tablet supports 18 W USB PD charging. Its metal chassis is 7.8 mm thick and the device weighs approximately 665 g. Straight edges and a dark grey finish give it a minimalist appearance. The power button incorporates a fingerprint sensor.
