Filter Characteristics
The L-eNhance is a tri-bandpass filter designed for DSLR, color CMOS, and monochrome CCD cameras. It isolates the emission lines of Oxygen III (O-III), Hydrogen Beta (H-Beta), and Hydrogen Alpha (H-Alpha) with a maximum transmission of up to 90%. This selective transmission effectively suppresses interfering artificial light sources, making it ideal for astrophotography in bright, heavily light-polluted areas.
Main Use and Performance
This filter enables astrophotographers to capture detailed images of deep-sky emission nebulae directly from urban environments without the need for large or expensive telescopes. It performs excellently with affordable Newtonian telescopes, double-lens ED refractors, and achromatic refractors. Additionally, it enhances the performance of CMOS color cameras, allowing them to approach the image quality of CCD monochrome cameras.

WARNING: The L-eNhance filter is not designed for solar observation. Do not look at the sun through this filter. Doing so can cause permanent eye damage or blindness.
