Overview
Advanced VX 8 EdgeHD is the ultimate entry-level astroimaging package, combining the Advanced VX mount with Celestron's EdgeHD optical system. This setup allows for up to 3 different f-stop configurations, enabling users to shoot at f/10 or f/7 with a focal reducer, and even at ultra-fast f/2 with Fastar/Hyperstar compatibility. EdgeHD technology ensures pinpoint stars across the CCD sensor.

About the Mount
The Advanced VX mount is designed for optimal imaging performance with smaller telescopes. It includes All-Star Polar Alignment and autoguider support, allowing for long exposure tracking with programmable periodic error correction. The mount's larger base castings enhance stability, while improved motors provide better torque and handle load imbalances effectively.
