FLIR Scout III 640 Thermal Imaging Camera

The FLIR Scout III 640 is FLIR's newest compact and lightweight monocular thermal camera. The advantage over night vision equipment is that you can easily see with heat imaging equipment whether or not someone is in the woods. It also gives you the opportunity to see, for example, heat tracks, think of a car that has just passed away, which has given heat. There is absolutely no need for light to see clear image with a thermal imager.

This monocular thermal camera has a refresh rate of 30 Hz, this is a higher refresh rate compared to the Scout II 640 with 9 herz refresh rate. The refresh rate is the number of times per second that the hardware can change the pixels, the higher the Herz the smoother the images.
;The scout III has the highest 640x512 detector within the scout III series. This detector makes it possible to detect a person at 1100 meters. In addition to the scout III 640, in the same series are the scout III 320 and the scout III 240.
;The Scout III 640 gives a clear and sharp image from early morning to late night and midnight. Because infrared heat is used, the image is always the same, whether it's light or full darkness.

The FLIR Scout III is so compact that it fits in one hand and can be operated with only one hand. The operation is very simple and makes the Scout III easy to use. The Scout III is also equipped with the so-called InstantAlert technology. With one press of the button, only the warmest object in the color red is displayed, which is set in three modes.
