It features a 160x120 VOx detector with 19,200 pixels, combining visible and thermal imaging on a 3.5-inch touchscreen. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, enabling direct upload of recordings to the FLIR Ignite™ Cloud.
MSX Technology
The camera utilizes MSX (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) technology, which overlays sharp, detail-rich contours from the visual camera onto the thermal image. This enhances image clarity by combining thermal data with visible light details. Users can adjust the balance between visual and thermal images using the MSX slider or disable either image type entirely.
Measurement and Visualization
The FLIR C5 allows precise temperature measurements and offers adjustable temperature ranges with auto, manual, or one-touch level span settings. Various color palettes are available to visualize heat differences effectively, including a high-contrast Grey palette and a full-spectrum Rainbow palette that displays temperatures from coldest to warmest.
Image Creation, Storage, and Sharing
Users can capture and save photos with corresponding parameters. Images are automatically uploaded to the FLIR Ignite Cloud for storage, management, and sharing with teams or clients. When MSX is enabled, photos are saved in both thermal and visible formats. The integrated 5-megapixel visual camera captures high-quality standard photos without thermal overlay.
