The THERMAL MASTER P3 is a professional mini thermal imaging camera for precise diagnostics of electronics, printed circuit boards (PCBs), electrical systems and industrial equipment, as well as HVAC, home and automotive inspections. Its 256 × 192-pixel VOx detector and X³IR™ technology produce an enhanced image resolution of 512 × 384 pixels, showing temperature distribution in clear detail. The camera measures temperatures from -20°C to 600°C with an accuracy of ±2°C or ±2% of the reading. Thermal sensitivity (NETD) of <35 mK at 25°C helps reveal subtle temperature differences. Despite its capabilities, the P3 is compact and lightweight, measuring 59 × 27 × 17.2 mm and weighing 26.3 g, with a power consumption of just 0.32 W.

Precise PCB diagnostics

Designed with printed circuit board analysis in mind, the P3 is suited to tasks where rapid detection of microdefects is important. It supports PCB testing and leakage-current detection at the 1 mA level, helping locate problematic components without checking the entire circuit. The macro lens with manual focus allows precise adjustment for small electronic components, while the 4.3 mm focal length supports close-up work. Detailed thermal imaging

X³IR™ technology enhances image resolution to 512 × 384 pixels for clearer thermograms and easier interpretation. The Razor X™ algorithm produces an ultra-clear image, while the Thermal Master High-Sensitivity Sensor maps temperature differences precisely. A 25 Hz refresh rate provides a smooth live view, including when the camera is moved across the area being inspected. Use the 15× digital zoom to examine specific areas more closely.

The P3 offers 12 colour palettes, including White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red and Red Hot, plus eight other options. Emissivity, distance correction and ambient temperature settings can be adjusted to suit working conditions and account for differences in how materials and surfaces emit or reflect heat.

Wide measurement range and inspection tools

With a measurement range of -20°C to 600°C, the P3 is suitable for electronics diagnostics and inspections of installations, machinery, heating elements and industrial systems. Measurement accuracy of ±2°C or ±2% of the reading supports reliable results in routine service and inspection work. High- and low-temperature alarms help identify readings outside the expected range. The isotherm function highlights a selected temperature range in a distinct colour to speed up analysis of areas requiring attention. The aircraft-grade alloy housing combines durability with low weight.

Smart measurement and data analysis

The P3 provides 3-point, 3-line, 3-rectangle and 3-circle measurement tools, as well as automatic tracking of centre, maximum and minimum temperatures. IQ+ Precision Temp technology uses dynamic temperature-drift compensation and intelligent ambient temperature measurement to help maintain stable, accurate readings. Free professional offline data analysis is available after capturing a photo, supporting defect documentation and report preparation.

App and device compatibility

The camera works with the Temp Master app, available from Google Play and the App Store. Supported devices include iPhone 8–16, iPads, Android smartphones running Android 7.0 or later, and computers. PC software is available from the manufacturer. The P3 supports 12 languages, photo and video recording, and IR and PIP (picture-in-picture) image modes.
