Falcon Eyes RF-DD2.4 Wireless Radio Trigger Set

The Falcon Eyes RF-DD2.4 wireless trigger set provides an affordable and reliable solution for wireless control of studio flash units. The receiver connects to the synchronization input of the studio flash, while the transmitter mounts on the SLR camera, enabling seamless remote triggering.

Wireless Communication

The system operates on a 2.4 GHz radio frequency, offering 360-degree signal transmission and complete freedom of movement for the photographer. It supports 16 adjustable channels to avoid interference, with a maximum wireless range of up to 100 meters.

Connectivity and Power

• The receiver can connect to flashes with a 3.5 mm synchronization input via the included 3.5 mm jack plug adapter.
• The receiver is powered by two AAA batteries (not included), easily replaced through a sliding cap on top.
• The transmitter uses a replaceable button cell battery.

Transmitter Features

• Equipped with a hotshoe mount on top, allowing attachment of external flashes or other accessories. Note that this hotshoe does not transmit TTL signals.
• Includes a 2.5 mm synchronization cable input, enabling connection to cameras without a hotshoe but with an x-contact via a synchronization cable.

Compatibility and Notes

• The RF-DD2.4 is the successor to the RF-DD4, operating on 2.4 GHz instead of 433 MHz, and is not compatible with the older RF-DD4 system.
• Compatible with all SLR cameras; however, Sony/Minolta cameras require the HS-25Sa hotshoe adapter or the Travor HC-511 adapter for new Sony MI hotshoes (available separately).
• The RF-DD4 is not compatible with the Canon EOS 80D.
• This trigger set is not compatible with cameras lacking a center contact on the hotshoe.

Additional Information for Sony Cameras

For Sony cameras with the new Sony hotshoe connection, the TF-334 adapter (optional accessory) is recommended. For older Sony hotshoe connections, the HS-25Sa adapter is suitable.
