The SMDV FlashWave-III Digital Radio Slave Kit is the essential accessory for the demanding strobist. With this kit, you trigger reporter flash units or studio flash heads remotely. The kit consists of a transmitter and receiver that communicate through 16 channels on 2.4GHz. The sync speed of the transmitter is 1/250s. The range is bout 180 metres in the open field.

Flash Wave-III Transmitter
The transmitter is equipped with one central pin, which allows universal use with many cameras equipped with an ISO standard hot shoe. The Flash Wave-III has a two step trigger test button to first, activate the autofocus and then trigger the shot. The transmitter runs on one CR2450 battery.

Flash Wave-III receiver
Flash Wave-III receiver has besides an integrated hot shoe also a 3.5mm connection to use a studio flash unit as a portable flash unit. The receiver has a 1/4" tripod thread for mounting on a tripod or light stand. The receiver runs on two AA batteries.
