Functionality and Compatibility

The X5 unit functions as both a flash shoe and wireless transmitter, allowing photographers to switch instantly between on-camera flash use, off-camera wireless control, and complex multi-light setups. The compact iT32 and X5 units combine magnetic modularity, cross-brand compatibility, and Godox 2.4 GHz wireless integration, enabling effortless light shaping in any shooting environment.

Dual Identity: Hotshoe and Trigger

The X5 acts as a hotshoe mount when attached to the iT32 flash for on-camera use. When detached, it automatically switches to wireless trigger mode, controlling the iT32 or other Godox Wireless X System flashes remotely.

Wireless Synchronization

Equipped with a built-in 2.4 GHz receiver in the iT32 and a 2.4 GHz transmitter in the X5, the system enables instant wireless communication without manual pairing. The iT32 and X5 can act as a master unit to trigger multiple Godox flashes simultaneously. When separated, the X5 can still control the iT32 and other compatible flashes within the Godox 2.4 GHz wireless X system, facilitating fast and reliable multi-light setups.

Intelligent Recognition and Display

The iT32 automatically detects the connected X5 version and displays key information such as model type, battery level, and charging status on its screen. This smart detection helps minimize errors and ensures smooth operation during photo shoots.

Magnetic Attachment System
