Compatibility and Design

The Peak Design Standard Plate V2 is the quick-release camera plate included with the Capture Camera Clip. It is compatible with most ARCA-type tripods and fits into the Capture clip in four different orientations. The plate features four loops designed for attaching Peak Design Anchors, enhancing versatility for camera carrying options.

Construction and Improvements

This upgraded version of the Standard Plate is constructed from durable machined and anodized die-cast aluminium, providing strength and longevity. It has a 50% lower profile compared to the previous generation, making it thinner while maintaining compatibility with most Arca-type tripod heads.

Enhanced Functionality

The plate includes a new connection screw slot that offers more positioning options. This design improvement helps prevent interference with camera lenses, LCD screens, and battery compartments, ensuring unobstructed camera operation when mounted.
