KS-251K / Steadicam Hard Mount Kit
Kupo Steadicam Hard Mount allows a Steadicam rig to be mounted on 4850mm pipe or Mitchell plate. It includes the following features:
- Machined anodized rectangle aluminum mounting plate
- Stainless steel female socket block
- Two 40mm long custom stainless steel 1/4-20 T handle knobs
- 8 pre-drilled holes offering 5 indexing angles
- One piece double clamp for affixing to the 4850mm pipe
The clamp provides a rigid mounting on both the left and right side, allowing the operator a quick way to change the setup on the fly if needed. A Mitchell adapter and a simple tie down are supplied to mount the Steadicam gear on the Mitchell plate by attaching the Hard mount plate with 2 x 1/4-20 screws included. A knob with a 3/8-16 bolt is equipped as a Mitchell key on the adapter, offering a quick pan adjustment if needed.
