The Tilta HDA-T18-DP Hydra Alien Pro Dovetail Plates (Black) are precision-machined, quick-release dovetail plates designed for the Hydra Alien Pro vehicle shock-absorbing system. They allow fast, secure mounting of standard Arri-style dovetail baseplates and enable quick transitions between gimbals, tripods, or other support platforms while maintaining perfect balance and stability during high-speed car-mount shoots.
The HDA-T18-DP plates replace the default quick-release system with Arri dovetail compatibility. Made from lightweight yet strong aluminum alloy and finished in black anodizing, each plate features spring-loaded safety locks and dual locating pins for zero play when locked. One plate mounts to the gimbal/cage, while the receiver plate attaches to the Hydra Alien Pro arm head, allowing quick camera rig changes without re-balancing.
