Compatibility and Design

The JOBY® GripTight™ Mount for MagSafe is specifically designed for owners of the Apple iPhone 12 and later series smartphones. It features an innovative, fast-mounting design that enables mobile content creators to quickly and easily integrate their phone into the JOBY ecosystem of products.

Hybrid Clamp Functionality

The mount includes a hybrid clamp with two modes of use:

• With the jaws twisted back, the magnet provides rapid attachment for speed and convenience.
• With the jaws twisted out, the clamp offers enhanced security and stability, ensuring reliable mounting.

Rotation and Rig Building

The clamp rotates 360°, allowing seamless switching between landscape and portrait orientations. Additionally, the mount features multiple mounting points to attach GorillaPod® arms, enabling users to build a custom rig by adding Beamo™ lights and Wavo™ microphones for professional video setups.

Mounting Compatibility

The GripTight Mount for MagSafe is equipped with the industry-standard 1/4"-20 mounting point, making it compatible with a variety of JOBY tripods, including GorillaPod, HandyPod™, TelePod™, and RangePod™ supports.

Portability

When not in use, this compact mount is pocket-sized and easily fits into a back pocket or camera bag, serving as a convenient secondary shooting option.
