The Manfrotto 322RA is the official additional RC2 quick-release adapter for the 322RC2 Grip Action Ball Head. It allows you to mount a second camera body or keep an extra plate on your primary camera, ensuring perfect weight distribution over the tripod in both landscape and portrait orientations. This results in higher stability and faster camera swaps compared to the standard built-in receiver.

This compact RC2 quick-release assembly attaches directly to the head's 1/4"-20 (or 3/8" via reducer) top stud, lowering the camera closer to the tripod's center of gravity, which eliminates leverage and improves rigidity, especially in vertical orientation.
