Solid, Twist-Free Camera Connection

The Wimberley P 5 lens plate is engineered to provide a secure, twist-free connection between your camera body and tripod head. It features a thin layer of dense, textured rubber on the top surface that grips the bottom of your camera firmly while maintaining the solid feel of a metal-to-camera interface.

Design and Construction

• The top of the plate is precision milled beneath the rubber coating to direct frictional force toward the outer edges, maximizing resistance to rotation.
• The compact rubber layer ensures a strong grip without compromising the metal connection's stability.

Compatibility

• Fits almost any SLR camera as well as many point-and-shoot models.
• Compatible with tripod heads featuring an Arca-Swiss style quick-release clamp, including brands such as Arca-Swiss, Kirk, Really Right Stuff, Markins, Acratech, Foba, and Studioball.
• Requires the camera or mounted hardware to have a 1/4" (6.35 mm) threaded hole. For cameras with a 3/8" (9.53 mm) threaded hole, an adapter ring is necessary (sold separately).
