Compatibility and Fluid Base Integration
This monopod is compatible with Manfrotto’s full fluid base (MVMXPROBASE), enabling transformation of the photo monopod into a professional full fluid video monopod. The innovative FLUIDTECH solution provides 3D fluid movement—pan, tilt, and swivel—using a spherical system inside the base for ultimate smoothness and an expanded range of perspectives. Three retractable feet enhance portability when folded, allowing easy transport.
Conversion to Video Monopod
The MVMXPROBASE attaches to the XPRO Photo Monopod+ by unscrewing the foot at the bottom, converting the photo monopod into a video monopod for smooth video footage. It is compatible with all XPRO Photo Monopods+ except the MMXPROA3B.
Monopod Specifications and Features
The MPMXPROA4 is a 4-section monopod reaching a maximum height of 180 cm. When combined with the 234RC photo monopod head and a mounted camera, it significantly expands vertical shooting range, offering new creative possibilities.
- D-shaped aluminium tubes: Enhance anti-rotation resistance, supporting rapid rotation movements by the photographer.
- Quick Power Lock (QPL): Strongly locks the lever onto the monopod tube’s flat side, eliminating unwanted jerky movements.
- Newly designed leg warmer: Provides exceptional grip for comfortable handling.
- Dual 1/4" - 3/8" photo camera fixing screw: Increases versatility and speed in the field.
Additional Information
The MMXPROA4 replaces the Manfrotto 680B monopod model. For users owning both an XPRO Monopod+ Video and an XPRO Monopod+ Photo who wish to use the video base with both poles, the spare part R108852 is required.
