The Velbon ball head series "B" has been designed with the aim of being particularly light yet robust.
With this background, the special resin PPS was used as a basis for the construction of the ball heads, which is a high temperature resistant and robust thermoplastic plastic.
At 111g and a load capacity of 1.5kg, the B31M is the smallest head in the B series.
All four models in the series have a comfortable to fix thumbscrew to position the head.
In addition, the heads have a recess on both sides, so that a 90 degree tilt is possible.
The camera is connected to the head via a quick release plate (QB32), which can be placed on the head in two directions.
