MITOYA OWL-K1 is an innovative tripod head designed for mounting cameras, smartphone holders, portable LED pocket lamps, and a wide range of video accessories on lighting tripods with the popular 16 mm stem.

Unlike traditional ball heads, the OWL-K1 uses an articulated adjustment with a serrated lock. This design guarantees stability and secure support of the equipment, as well as precise control of the tilt angle within a 180° range front and back. The head is constructed from ABS plastic and supports a load capacity of up to 2 kg, making it suitable for panel lamps, smaller cameras, or camcorders. This allows mounting on tripods that offer much higher working heights than traditional photo tripods.

The MITOYA OWL-K1 photographic head features a convenient quick connector with a universal 1/4" thread. The quick release includes a non-slip rubber pad that protects the base of the mounted device from scratches and improves grip pressure. Quick assembly and disassembly are facilitated by a small locking lever with protection.

An additional advantage of the OWL-K1 head is the universal hole for a photo umbrella, making it a functional base for creating a mobile portrait photography kit using reporter flashes.
