Design and Functionality

This jumbo flash umbrella features a white, translucent (diffuse) coating combined with a silver/black cover. The transparent cover allows for soft light reflection (indirect light) and can also be used to flash through the material, creating a softbox effect (direct light). The silver reflective interior maximizes light reflection, enabling versatile use as a transparent umbrella, silver/black umbrella, or all three simultaneously. The black outer side prevents unwanted reflections in studio environments.

Construction and Usage

To remove the white translucent cover, a few strings need to be cut; this does not affect performance. Due to its large 216 cm diameter, the umbrella provides extensive light distribution. Given its jumbo size, it is recommended to use a sturdy tripod for support.
