Power up, start your dive, and track the ROVs location in real-time on the QGroundControl map. The system features serial communication and an API.
Autosync utilizes GPS or GNSS signals at the missions start and optionally during the dive. Satellite acquisition typically occurs within 30 seconds of powering up. While several optimizations enhance the USBL system, real-world positioning accuracy can be affected by environmental conditions and signal interference. The horizontal positional error is approximately 0-8.5 meters at a 50-meter distance between the receiver and transmitter, with increased error at greater distances.
To improve accuracy, secure the USBL receiver to prevent rotation from seawater fluctuations and maintain a reasonable distance from pool walls or vessels to minimize interference.
