The Yongnuo YN968EX-RT is an innovative camera flash unit designed for Canon systems, combining the benefits of continuous LED lighting and powerful flash illumination. It features a built-in radio receiver compatible with Canon's RT wireless system, enabling seamless communication with Canon cameras and compatible flash units.
Dual Light Sources
The flash head integrates two light sources: a high-power flash tube with a guide number of 60 (ISO 100, 105mm) and an LED panel for continuous lighting. The flash offers fast recycling times and high output, while the LED panel assists with focusing and composing shots under challenging lighting conditions.
Flexible Flash Head Movement and Lighting Control
The flash head provides a wide range of motion for quick and precise positioning. It supports automatic and manual zoom, diffusers for both the flash and LED panel, and a reflector to creatively shape the lighting of your scene.

User Interface and Controls
The unit includes a backlit LCD display with an intuitive menu system for easy operation. Large buttons allow comfortable use even when wearing gloves. Users can enable or disable charge and ready-to-flash indicators as needed.
Wireless Communication and Compatibility
The built-in Canon RT system supports radio communication with Canon 600EX-RT, Yongnuo YN600EX-RT flashes, and triggers such as YN-E3-RT and Canon ST-E3-RT. It can function as a master controller or as a slave receiver. The RT system supports control of up to five groups on 15 channels, maintaining TTL, manual, and strobe modes.
Additionally, the YN968EX-RT supports optical triggering compatible with Yongnuo YN568EX II, Canon 580EX II, Nikon SB-700, SB-800, SB-900, SB-910, and Canon cameras with built-in flash (600D, 60D, 7D). In optical slave mode, it supports both manual and TTL flash modes.
Manual flash triggering modes S1 and S2 allow compatibility with nearly all flash units on the market. The flash can also be controlled wirelessly via external radio triggers such as Yongnuo YN622, RF603, or via PC connection.
