The Yongnuo YN600EX-RT II is a professional-grade flash designed specifically for Canon camera users. It features a built-in receiver compatible with the Canon RT radio communication system and is an improved version of the popular YN600EX-RT model.

Wireless Communication and Triggering

The built-in Canon RT system receiver enables radio communication with compatible flashes including Yongnuo YN600EX-RT I & II, Canon 600EX-RT, 600EX II-RT, and 430EX III. It can function as both a master controller and a slave receiver. The RT system supports control of up to four groups of flashes across 15 channels, with TTL, manual, and strobe modes.

Additionally, the YN600EX-RT II can be used in an optical flash trigger system. As a master, it controls Canon and Yongnuo EX-series flashes (excluding YN585EX). In slave mode, it can receive optical signals from various Yongnuo, Canon, and Nikon flashes and built-in camera flashes, supporting manual, strobe, and TTL modes.

Manual S1 and S2 triggering modes allow basic wireless communication with most flash units on the market. The flash can also be triggered wirelessly via external radio triggers such as Yongnuo YN622 or RF603, and through the PC sync port.
