Yongnuo YN200 Flash
The Yongnuo YN200 is a compact flash that combines the versatility of a reporter flash with the output of a studio flash. Its replaceable 2,900 mAh battery supports up to 500 full-power flashes. Features include TTL automatic metering, high-speed sync (HSS) and built-in radio control.
Power and Operation
The flash delivers 200 Ws of power and a guide number of GN 60 at ISO 100 with the reflector mounted. It is almost four times more powerful than a standard reporter flash while remaining compact and lightweight.
Choose from TTL, manual (M) and stroboscopic (Multi) modes. The built-in receiver supports remote control through the YN560-TX PRO radio system. HSS enables flash photography at shutter speeds up to 1/8000 s.
The YN-B2900 14.4 V, 2,900 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 500 flashes at full power. Recycling time is 0.01–2 s, depending on the selected output. Flash power is adjustable from 1/1 to 1/64 in 1/3 EV increments. An LCD and rear control panel provide access to settings.
Connectivity and Mounting
Wireless control is available via the YN560-TX PRO radio system, which combines compatibility with the YN560 and YN622 systems, or via optical triggering. Optical modes include Nikon/Canon trigger systems and photocell modes. A 3.5 mm sync socket allows connection to an external trigger or to a camera using a suitable cable. The flash also has a micro USB port for software updates.
Two 1/4-inch female tripod threads allow the flash to be mounted on a lighting stand. With a separately available bracket, it can be used with Bowens-mount modifiers.
